Why Rob Nixon Designs?
A good design is something beautiful, functional, and - most importantly - memorable. Creating graphics and web pages that fit the product or service is my first and foremost consideration, but no design is complete without the flourishes that make the user say, "Wow, I've never seen that before!" That kind of impact is an important part of creating a successful web presence, and it's something that I aim for in every aspect of my work.
Your product is unique, and it deserves to be represented as such. That's where I come into play.
Who is Rob Nixon?
I'm a 28 year old web designer currently living in Newport News, Virginia. I graduated in 2009 from ITT Technical Institute in Richmond, Virginia with a degree in Visual Communications. At ITT, I consistently pushed the boundaries of the curriculum in order to forge my own unique style, something which textbooks simply cannot teach, and I continue to foster this relationship with my design. Starting from a very early age, I've had an interest in art, graphic design, and user interfaces, especially where computers are involved. In the fall, I will be continuing my design education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
I'm very passionate about design and constantly educate myself on current trends and techniques. I then purposefully avoid them at all costs!
